Yala National Park

Yala is the most popular national park in Sri Lanka. Also, it is the second largest National park in the country.

It is housing for leopards, elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer’s, sloth bears, water buffalos, monkeys and totally 44 varieties of mammals as well as hundreds of bird species. Yala, one of the highest density of leopards in the world.

The total area of this park is 978 km2 and bordering to the Indian Ocean in southeast Sri Lanka.
